About Us
DUI defense attorney Michael C. Tillotson is a well-respected and known adversary among his colleagues. His practice is focused on the defense of those charged with drinking and driving in Virginia Beach. Mr. Tillotson is a Lifetime Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is also a member of the National College for DUI Defense and the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
His credentials also include an impressive academic background. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with Honors in 1986 when he earned his B.S. degree in criminal justice studies. Mr. Tillotson was the recipient of the Alpha Phi Signa Award for graduating with the highest grade point average in criminal justice studies. He then went on to earn his law degree from Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1990.
Mark R. Matney is also part of the team at the Law Office of Tillotson & Matney. Attorney Matney is a member of the Williamsburg Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar, where he is part of the Trusts and Estates section. He is affiliated with The Estate Plan and serves on the Board of Directors for Evangel Theological Seminary.
Prior to becoming one of Virginia’s Beach’s top DUI defense attorneys, Mark Matney focused on his education. In 1989, he earned his B.A. degree from the American University in Washington D.C. He later earned his law degree from Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.
